The mission of SEGKBF is a kayak fishing organization dedicated to promoting the sport of kayak bass fishing. SEGKBF’s primary objective is to educate and encourage others in the pursuit of kayak bass fishing.
We provide a tournament series as a competitive avenue for anglers to improve their skills. While this series is meant to be fun and enjoyable, we ask that anglers remember the primary objective of SEGKBF.
Remember, winning is not something you can completely control. Each angler can control his or her attitude, so relax, have fun, and enjoy your time on the water. No amount of money is worth tarnishing your reputation.
We will stand by this mission of SEGKBF and enjoy our time together as anglers on and off the water.
SEGKBF does not discriminate against sex, race, color, or ethnicity. SEGKBF thanks every angler who supports our mission and organization.
About Daniel Woodcock
I began fishing at a very young age beside my grandfather here in Southeast Georgia. He used to take me down to little creeks, rivers, and farm ponds to catch bream and bass.
As I grew older, I began to get into more bass fishing and learned the different techniques of this sport. As time went on in life, I found a Bass Club to fish weekend tournaments and traveling the State of Georgia to fish big reservoir lakes.
This then became a lot of money involved in traveling, tournament fees, and co-angler fees. I got out of the big bass boat era and started looking at Kayaks.
I found this website www.tourneyx.com and fished my first online tournament and really enjoyed it. So I purchased my first kayak and began Southeast Georgia Kayak Bass Fishing.
This would allow me to fish the Southeast part of Georgia with other kayak anglers alike and still be competitive.
